On June 22, EuroCham Indonesia had the pleasure of meeting with Bahar to explore potential collaborations and future opportunities for cooperation. The discussion reflected a shared commitment to strengthening engagement and fostering meaningful partnerships across various areas of mutual interest.

On the 22nd of June, EuroCham attended the DIARI Kosmetik 2026 forum, convened by BPOM’s Directorate of Registration, which served as a critical two-way dialogue to gather concrete industry feedback and address ongoing bottlenecks in cosmetic notification services.

Key regulatory clarifications were provided regarding upcoming changes, including the tightened product name reuse policy, the mandatory Halal logo implementation by October 2026, and draft restrictions on foreign contract manufacturing.

Participants extensively discussed persistent technical failures within the mandatory OSS system integration, notably Notification ID synchronization issues and the restrictive 5,000-product database cap that severely hinders high-volume operations. The Directorate clarified crucial procedural rules, specifically that only the main active ingredient (excluding auxiliary "cucu" components) must be reported in formulas, and that the CPKB renewal timeline will shift from 3 months to H-1 under new harmonized regulations.
