IP Sub-Working Group Discussion with Danish PTO
On 25 September 2024, the EuroCham IP Subgroup of the ICTIP Working Group met with representatives from the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO) at the Danish Embassy in Jakarta. The meeting focused on the current priorities of the group concerning Indonesia’s intellectual property (IP) framework and its enforcement, as well as the practices and policies implemented in Denmark.
The discussion provided valuable insights into effective IP enforcement, with both sides exchanging best practices. The EuroCham was represented by Deputy Head, Kin Wah Chow (Principal at Rouse Indonesia), Evi Triana (Partner at Rouse Indonesia), and Nadira Tatyana (Research Assistant at EuroCham Indonesia). Representing Denmark were Sidsel Marie, Sector Counsellor for Maritime and IPR at the Danish Embassy, and Michael Poulsen, Head of International Cooperation Department at DKPTO.

Workshop on IPR with the Danish Patent & Trademark Office (DKPTO) and MoLHR
EuroCham was invited by the Danish Embassy to attend a workshop on Intellectual Property Rights organized by the Danish Patent & Trademark Office and the Directorate General of Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Law & Human Rights, on Monday 23 September.
The workshop provided an overview of Denmark’s IP and Indonesia’s IP systems, as well as current trends and challenges of IP Enforcement in Indonesia. The workshop was opened by Director General Sune Stampe Sorensen, Danish Patent & Trademark Office, Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs, and Director of Cooperation and Education at DGIP, Bapak Yasmon.
