On the 14th of January, EuroCham Retail Sub-Working Group held a leaders meeting to summarize the activities of 2024 and plan ahead for 2025. The meetings also served to summarize the policies in the Retail industry.

The meeting was led by Head of the Retail Sub Working Group, Suryamin Halim (Corporate Affairs Manager of PT Hindo (H&M Indonesia)

EuroCham Indonesia attended the IBC Business Competitiveness Outlook 2025, organized by the Indonesian Business Council (IBC) on January 13, 2025.

The event carried the theme “Driving Economic Growth and Competitiveness Through Governance Reform and Public-Private Collaboration.” The event provided insights into business competitiveness projections for 2025, emphasizing key strategies for fostering economic growth and investment.

The report and discussions highlighted the importance of governance reform to enhance the ease of doing business, public-private collaboration in infrastructure development and socio-economic improvements, advancing industrialization through downstreaming strategies, and promoting the green economy.
