EBOWN Webinar: Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive: Compliance Strategies & Key Implications
On September 17, Eurocham had the privilege to participate in an insightful webinar hosted by the European Business Organization Network (EBOWN) on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CS3D).
With the European Council's adoption of the directive earlier this year, businesses are facing transformative changes in their operations, requiring thorough due diligence across supply chains to ensure the protection of human rights and the environment.
The webinar, expertly moderated by Adam Dunnett (EBOWN Deputy Chair & Secretary-General of EBO China), featured key presentations from Dan Dionisie (Head of Unit at European Commission’s DG Justice) and Antony Crockett (Partner at Herbert Smith Freehills). This event provided critical insights into the directive and the strategies businesses can adopt for effective compliance.
Thank you EBOWN for this highly informative event and let's work together toward a more sustainable and responsible future!
