On April 7th, the EuroCham Secretariat attended the “Strengthening Indonesia’s Workforce: A Labor Day Forum with the Ministry of Manpower”, hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia (AmCham) and SSEK Law Firm.

The forum provided a valuable platform to discuss key labor and workforce developments in Indonesia, bringing together government representatives, business leaders, and stakeholders to exchange perspectives on strengthening the country’s human capital and regulatory landscape.

We extend our appreciation to AmCham and SSEK Law Firm for the kind invitation, and we look forward to continued dialogue on workforce development and labor policy.

On the 7th of April, EuroCham had the pleasure of joining the Public Consultation on Draft BPOM Export Certificate Regulation for Natural Medicines, Quasi Drugs, Health Supplements, and Cosmetics. BPOM explained that the new regulation is intended to improve public services and strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian export products while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and efficacy standards.

Key discussions covered the types of export certificates available, eligibility for applicants, required product and legal information, and the application process through BPOM’s official export services platform. Crucially, the timelines and opportunities for data revisions were provided. We would like to extend our appreciation for the invitation to participate in this meeting.
