EuroCham attended a webinar on “The Post-Implementation of Mandatory Halal on 17 October 2024” by the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Body (BPJPH) on November 14. Khotibul Umam, Acting Head of the Development and Supervision at BPJPH, presented the materials as the guest speaker mainly on the amended Government Regulation on the Implementation of Halal and how they would impact businesses. The session was concluded with a question-and-answer session with online participants

On November 13, the FTI (Finance, Tax, and Investments) Working Group held its meeting at the TMF office. The meeting was led by the Head of the Working Group, Omar Abdulkadir (Taxation Service Advisor - PwC Indonesia). The Working Group discussed the new digital tax administration platform Coretax and current taxation policies and regulations, followed by an interactive discussion with the participants.
