EuroCham Indonesia’s Human Resources (HR) Working Group recently held its first hybrid meeting this year at the office of one of its members, Jawa Power.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Heads of the Working Group, Sylviawati Tanuwikarta (Head of Human Resources at Siemens Indonesia) and Rakhman Sapta Ferdinansyah, (Associate Director of HR & Payroll Services at TMF Group Indonesia), and hosted by Herlina Poespowati (HR & Compliance Manager at Jawa Power).

The meeting discussed policy updates pertaining to Government Regulation No. 55 of 2022 on Benefit-in-Kind and Government Regulation in Lieu of Law No. 2 of 2022 on Job Creation, which were presented by the TMF Group. Members that attended actively shared their insights during the presentation’s Q&A session.

On the 15th of February, EuroCham Secretariat visited Schneider Electric Indonesia, a member of EuroCham, and met with the Government Relations Director, Hedi Santoso.

Hedi Santoso introduced Schneider Electric’s businesses, culture, and objectives as those of an innovation and collaboration-driven company. The value is reflected in the Company’s office space concept, which we had the unique opportunity to tour.

The meeting also discussed potential collaborations between Schneider Electric Indonesia and EuroCham, especially in sectors such as Technology, Energy, and Sustainability.
